☽ Hallo Liz ☾

So a few months ago I decided to upgrade to Spotify Premium, which was probably one of the best decisions I've made in 2015. I'm way too lazy to download songs and update the music on my phone so Spotify is just so convenient for me to use and create playlists whenever I want.

(These songs are in no particular order)

I've been loving the song "The Beach" by The Neighbourhood. Their "Wiped Out!" album has some great tunes but this one is by far my favourite.

I've been playing "Love Yourself" by Justin Bieber on repeat since it came out...I am in love with this song and his whole "Purpose" album. Definitely my favourite album of 2015. Good job Biebs.

"Sun Models" by ODESZA is such a great song that has a dreamy feel to it. I saw ODESZA live at Listen Out festival and it was fun.

I'm not that into soul music but I've been loving "Lyin King" by Jhene Aiko. Her voice is so mesmerising.

"Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus is a song I will just always love. Love love love. It's just so good.

J. Cole is such a cutie and "G.O.M.D." is a song I've been listening to so much. Not only is it a great song but his music video for it holds deeper meanings as it comments on the deep-rooted racism and oppression in the American community.

"Lovefool" by The Cardigans is an old song but I've been listening to it non stop lately. It's so catchy.

Alison Wonderland is a Sydney-based EDM producer and DJ (yay supporting local artists) and her song "I Want U" is a great tune. I love pumping this really loud. I also saw her live at Listen Out festival and it was bloody great.

Troye Sivan has an interesting tone to his music and I've been loving his song "FOOLS" off his album "WILD". I met him recently when him and his mates came in for some burgers and beers at the restaurant I work at and he was such a sweet heart. I think I'm a fan.

"The Power of Love" by Gabrielle Aplin is just a beautiful song. [SPOILER ALERT] I first heard this during Francis II of France and Mary, Queen of Scots' wedding on the show 'Reign' and fell in love. It was a perfect song for their wedding and just such a sweet song.

One Direction's song "Perfect" is the best when you blast it really, really loud. It's so much fun.

"Bloodline" by James and the Wild Spirit is another song I heard off of the show 'Reign'. It is such a tune.

Finally, I've been loving "Golden" by Scars on 45. Love me some British alt-rock.

What are some of your favourite tunes? I always love music suggestions!

Hallo everyone,

I have a new video up on my Youtube Channel - it's a makeup tutorial for the festive season. It's a classic golden-ish eye and red lip.

Hope you enjoy!

Hello everybody,

It is now summer time (cue HSM music ~WHAT TIME IS IT?? SUMMER TIME~) in Australia and everyone is flocking to the beach, myself included. So I decided to show you what essential items are in my beach bag.

The bag I use for the beach is this bag from Tigerlily. It's really big and has cute prints on it.

My beach bag essentials:

1. A bottle of water. Gotta stay hydrated while outdoors in the hot sun.

2. Some sort of body fragrance. Mine is the Bath and Body Works' fragrance mist in Coconut Lime Breeze. It smells delicious and summery. Perfect to spritz on when you want to smell nice, especially if you're going somewhere after lounging around out in the sun and swimming in the ocean.

3. A hat. This will protect your face from the sun (no one wants premature wrinkles) especially if you plan to lie down in the sun and tan. Hats are also a cute accessory and can hide unruly beach hair.

4. My phone and earphones. Lying out in the sun listening to music is my idea of a perfect day.

5. A beach towel. Mine is a giant circle watermelon towel from Cotton On. It's so damn cute and it's big enough to share with another person.

6. Snacks. You're probably going to get hungry at the beach (at least I do, because I'm always hungry) so bringing some snacks is always a good idea. I love munching on almonds or fruit at the beach.

7. My SPF 50+ 4 hour water resistant invisible zinc. I use this to protect my tattoo when I'm out in the sun.

8. Reef coconut dry sun tan oil SPF 30+. So this offers sun protection while also helping you get a nice tan? What a dream. The smell of it is also lovely and it leaves your skin so soft and moisturised.

9. A little pouch full of little essential things. I'll get into this later.

10. Sunglasses, because you don't want to be blinded by the sun.

11. My wallet. Obviously.

12. A book. I like to read at the beach sometimes and the book I'm currently reading is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

So if you were wondering what was in my little pouch from no 9. above, then here it is. But first, how cute is the little Totoro pouch!!!

Okay, so I like to keep some bandaids in there just in case I get hurt or someone I'm with gets hurt. I also keep hand sanitiser, lip balm and mints. And lastly, I bring a bottle of my current toner - right now, it's Lush's breath of fresh air toner water. This helps me freshen up if I'm going somewhere later on.

And here is a picture of my watermelon towel in all its unfolded glory. IT'S INCREDIBLE.

Anyways, that is all that I bring to the beach with me. Hope you enjoyed reading this post.

Hallo peeps,

I've got a new video in which I haul all the clothing I've bought over the past few weeks and try it on (because that's way more fun).

I probably shop too much but tbh, clothes are great and spending money is also great.

So if you wanna watch me do a mini fashion show with the new clothes I've bought, then watch my video!!!

Hello everyone!

I have a new "Get ready with me" video up on Youtube showing y'all an idea of a Fall/Autumn makeup look and outfit. Give it a watch!!

Hay people of the Interwebs,

I have a new video up on my channel! It's a collective haul video where I just ramble about some new things that I bought...in a face mask.

Enjoy :)

So all the bathrooms in my house have been renovating for the past month and I had been craving a lush bath for the longest time. So of course, as soon as my new bath tub was ready I had to take a lush bath!

I used Golden Wonder bath bomb, which is a limited edition Christmas special, and it made the most beautiful glittery mermaid bath. The bath bomb also shot out little gold stars as it was dissolving in the water. So magical!!

I will definitely be posting up more photos of my bathroom when it's complete :)
